This also eliminates the need for baffle construction. Draft collar falls naturally around neck and shoulders; unless it gets very cold, you won't need to tighten the drawcord. Hood efficiently retains heat without having to cinch it. If it does get cold enough to snug up, the face gasket offers a soft, comfortable seal. Draft tube along zipper ends with an insulated gusset. Shell is compressible, durable nylon ripstop; lining is quick-drying polyester taffeta- both are treated with a durable water repellent.
